16 Handles Taps Veteran Restaurant Executive Larry Feierstein as Vice President of Franchise Development

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (June 21, 2012) – 16 Handles™ (http://www.16handles.com), a leading premier self-serve frozen yogurt company, has appointed franchise foodservice industry veteran Larry Feierstein as vice president of franchise development to support the company’s rapid growth and franchise business. Feierstein, with more than 30 years of experience working with startups and established quick-service restaurant companies, will oversee franchise development and assist franchisees in establishing, managing, and growing regional territories. He will also represent 16 Handles at industry events and trade shows.

Feierstein has a proven track record of developing franchise operations for food companies such as Buttercup Bake Shop, a Manhattan cupcake and specialty bakery, and Dunkin’ Donuts, where he managed and built sales and franchise operations for its Chicago and West Coast locations.

“Larry’s impressive 30-year career as an executive with some of today’s leading foodservice brands makes him eminently qualified to help us capitalize on the tremendous nationwide growth opportunities available at 16 Handles,” states Solomon Choi, 16 Handles’ founder. “He has a unique blend of operational, development, marketing and general management experience. Combine all of that with his passion for the foodservice industry, and we believe he will enable us to grow our franchise business, enhance our support for our franchisee partners, and drive profitable growth in new and existing markets.”
