Christopher Larson Adds Depth to Faegre Baker Daniels Intellectual Property Group

June 25, 2012 // Franchising.com // Denver - Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has strengthened its intellectual property practice with the hiring of Christopher L. Larson as an associate in the law firm's Denver office.

Larson brings experience in a range of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and information privacy and data security. His background in patent law covers litigation, prosecution, licensing and analysis. Larson also represents clients in Internet business, media and security law.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Larson was a patent litigation attorney at another law firm in Denver after graduating from the University of Colorado Law School in 2009. Prior to law school, Larson spent six years as a senior software engineer, project coordinator and software development lead at Business Logic Corporation in Chicago where he led the development, deployment and integration of 401(k) advice applications with numerous Fortune 500 financial institutions. Prior to that, Larson spent three years as a software engineer at Motorola Inc. of Schaumburg, Ill., where he designed, developed and tested encryption module interfaces for Motorola's secure design center.

At the University of Illinois, Larson graduated with honors in a double major — bachelor of science in computer science engineering and bachelor of arts in ancient and medieval history.

Larson is a member of the Boulder, Denver, Colorado and American Bar Associations, as well as the Colorado Intellectual Property Inn of Court.
