Yum! Restaurants International Appoints Andréa Rolim General Manager of Brazil

New Leadership Marks Tremendous Growth in Brazilian Market

SAO PAULO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Yum! Restaurants International has appointed Andréa Rolim to the position of General Manager, Brazil overseeing the operations, marketing, training and overall leadership of the KFC and Pizza Hut business in the Brazilian market. Ms. Rolim brings a proven track record of retail success and a passion for Yum! Brands to her new role.

“Brazil is one of our biggest opportunities for growth, so this position is very important to us,” said Frederic Levacher, General Manager, Latin America and Caribbean. “Andréa’s knowledge of the Brazil market will be instrumental in driving our growth plans. Andréa joins Yum! from Grupo Pão de Açúcar in São Paulo, where she has been working as a Business Director. With over 1,800 stores, Grupo Pão de Açúcar is the biggest Brazilian and the second largest Latin America retailer.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Rolim spent 17 years with Unilever in Brazil. She started in Supply Chain before moving to Marketing and progressed through several roles until she was appointed Vice President of Personal Care. Ms. Rolim also spent a year with AT Kearney in a consulting role, which provided her with a broadened business perspective. She has an Economics degree from PUC-SP in São Paulo.
