 - Liquid Nutrition Group Inc. (“Liquid Nutrition” or “Company”) (TSX: LQD.V and LQD.WT) is pleased to announce the opening of a new location in downtown Toronto. The new store, located at 145 King St. West marks the first store opening in Toronto.

“The Toronto store opening is an important milestone for everyone involved with Liquid Nutrition,” said Glenn Young, President and CEO of Liquid Nutrition Group. “With over 70 franchises sold in the past year, Liquid Nutrition is poised for rapid growth. This is the first of many new store openings Team Liquid will be celebrating in 2012.”

Young is confident the major markets in Canada will be sold out in the next few weeks and Liquid Nutrition is on schedule to open a minimum of 20 new stores across North America by the end of 2012.

Liquid Nutrition stores scheduled to open in the summer of 2012:

• Toronto, ON - 36 Toronto St.
• Oakville, ON - 321 Cornwall Rd.
• Port Coquitlam, BC - Steve Nash Sport Club, 111-3000 Lougheed HWY.
• Quebec City, QC - Place de Cité 2600 Boul Laurier
• Kingston, ON - 236 Wellington St. Partner, Robert Catenacci purchased the master franchisee license for Toronto and plans to open up to 10 locations in Toronto.

“The feedback from consumers during the first couple days of operations has been tremendous, there is a stronger than expected brand awareness among consumers who have seen the brand in Quebec,” said Robert from his Liquid Nutrition store in the heart of Canada’s financial district.

“Many of our initial customers work in the financial services industry and maintain demanding work hours - Liquid Nutrition provides a healthy option for people constantly on the go.”

Franchise opportunities are still available in select Canadian, American and global marketplaces.
