The Maids Named a Top 100 Veteran-Friendly Franchise

July 12, 2012 // Franchising.com // OMAHA, Neb. – The Maids, the only residential cleaning franchise to clean exclusively for health, has been ranked number 39 of 1851’s list of the top 100 veteran-friendly franchises.

1851 has created its top 100 list for veterans that are interested in venturing into franchise ownership. The list was created based on several categories, including: VetFran participation, G.I. jobs approval, unit size, Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 ranking and overall commitment to veteran franchise awareness.

“We’re always excited to be honored as a veteran-friendly franchise” shared Colin Bishop, president and chief executive officer of The Maids. “We are truly grateful for the sacrifices made by the men and women that serve our country, and we try to provide franchise opportunities that best suit their incredible talents.”

Named for the year that franchising was born, 1851 was developed to bring the franchise world together through an online educational resource featuring daily content from thought leaders, journalists and entrepreneurs.

The Maids offers veterans a franchise fee discount through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran initiative. Learn more about The Maids’ franchise opportunities at www.themaidsfranchise.com.
