July 16, 2012 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas - ActionCOACH was named winner of a Silver Stevie Awards in the category of Company of the Year – Business Services and ActionCOACH USA and Canada CEO Jodie Shaw took home a Bronze Stevie in the category of Executive of the Year - Business Services at the 10th Annual American Business Awards.
The winners were announced on June 18 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York, and ActionCOACH was one of a number of industry leaders to earn honors. Other companies who were named winners included NASCAR, Verizon Wireless and Ford Motor Company.
ActionCOACH has been a regular winner when it comes to the American Business Awards, earning numerous International Business Awards. In addition, last year ActionCOACH won a Gold Stevie for Company of the Year in the Business Services category at the American Business Awards and was also the winner of the People’s Choice Award in Business Services.
“Business Coaching, as an industry, is growing every day and the fact that we are the only coaching organization to be honored with one of these awards in the Business Services category is representative of our position as the industry leader,” Shaw said.
More than 3,000 entries were submitted to The 2012 American Business Awards and over 270 executives, nationwide, participated in the judging that determined this year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners. The American Business Awards are a strong barometer in determining the strength of a given business.
