About Bloop Frozen Yogurt

Bloop Frozen Yogurt is one of the fastest growing self-serve yogurt franchises in the country. Originating in Lynchburg, VA in 2011, Bloop currently has 5 locations in Virginia and two more under construction. In addition, the franchise has another 8-10 in the works all across the East Coast. Each store offers 12-16 flavors of yogurt with over 75 rotating, original flavors of yogurt crafted with real fruits, cocoa, coffee and more, plus a toppings bar featuring a wide variety of items including seasonal fresh fruit cut daily. Bloop also offers low fat, non-fat, sugar free, gluten free and non-dairy options, all with active, live cultures.

Bloop aims to bring more than just a sweet summertime cool down. The company's “Cup 4 A Cup program” works with the nonprofit charity:water to provide a cup of water to someone in need with every cup of frozen yogurt sold. So far, Bloop has been able to donate more than 75,000 cups of water.

“More than 30,000 people die from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions each week and over 90 percent of those deaths are children,” Daryl Calfee, co-founder of Bloop, said. “Our mission at Bloop is to help change that by offering a cup of clean drinking water for every cup of yogurt sold. A cup for a cup—it’s that simple.”
