Quail Springs Mall to Welcome Oklahoma's Third Raising Cane's

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (July 23, 2012) – Shoppers at Quail Springs Mall will soon be able to savor their favorite chicken fingers when Raising Cane’s opens its first Oklahoma City restaurant on Tuesday, July 31st.

The Quail Springs location will be Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s third restaurant in Oklahoma, and the 131st overall across 16 states. The company currently serves loyal “Caniacs” and other customers at its restaurants in Moore and Norman.

Jason Crane, Operations Manager for the new Quail Springs Mall restaurant, was previously operating out of the Moore restaurant, which he helped open in May. He is looking forward to welcoming mall visitors to the company’s newest location.

“Having experienced the excitement Cane’s generated in Moore earlier this year, I’m really looking forward to bringing our ONE LOVE to Oklahoma City,” said Crane. “Quail Springs is an awesome mall, and we’re in a great location in the food court and next to the movie theaters. My team and I can’t wait to introduce a new group of customers to the best chicken fingers on the planet!”

Between July 31 and August 7, Quail Springs Mall customers will be invited to participate in the company’s “Give Back Giveaway” tradition, in which one customer will win a $1,000 donation to his or her local charity of choice, along with Free Cane’s for a Year.

“The culture at Raising Cane’s revolves around active support of our local communities, so you can expect to see us getting involved quite a bit around Oklahoma City over the coming months and years,” said Crane.

Cane’s was a sponsor of Kevin Durant’s youth basketball camp last month, and will be partnering with local schools around “Back to School” time.

A Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony will be conducted at the restaurant at 9:30 AM on July 31st, in conjunction with the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. First-time visitors to the ceremonies are in for a treat, as 45-50 newly hired crewmembers will be performing their traditional cheers and other high-energy chants to launch the Quail Springs Mall location in unique Cane’s fashion.

Doors will open to the public at 10:00 AM, and the first 100 customers will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a voucher for a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, fries and a drink – they can use on their next visit.

Earlier this year, Cane’s outstanding customer service was recognized by Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study as one of the nation’s best among quick-service restaurants, for the fifth consecutive year.
