Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and RE/MAX Declare August "Month of Miracles"

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and RE/MAX are celebrating 20 years and $115 million raised to help fund needed pediatric care at the charity's 170 member hospitals.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (PRWEB) July 27, 2012 - RE/MAX agents have been helping sick and injured children for more than two decades. To raise even more awareness for the need to give, RE/MAX and long-time charity partner Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals today announced they have named August an official “Month of Miracles.”

Throughout August, participating RE/MAX agents will make a donation to CMN Hospitals for each transaction. RE/MAX Miracle Agents have collectively raised more than $115 million since the partnership began in 1992.

“Miracle Agents and Miracle Offices are unique in that they recognize the value of two things: the comfort a home can provide, and the need for sick and injured children to get the best care possible," said John Lauck, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals President and CEO. "The RE/MAX Network's dedication to our member hospitals is reflected in the donations made through Miracle Home and Miracle Property transactions, golf tournaments and other community fundraisers. We are excited to see what miracles may come this month!"

RE/MAX agents will kick off the month by hosting open houses across the country the weekend of July 28-29. The open houses will celebrate the charitable work of both RE/MAX agents and Children’s Miracle Networks Hospitals, but will also educate home sellers and buyers on the benefits of RE/MAX Miracle Homes.

Pledges through the RE/MAX Miracle Home and Miracle Property programs directly benefit the area’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to provide life-saving treatment, medical equipment and supplies, and much-needed research and education.

“While we continue to fundraise year round, August will be a month for us to celebrate our past contributions to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with our friends and neighbors,” said Mike Reagan, RE/MAX Senior Vice President Business Alliances. “But it’s also an opportunity to collectively focus on the incredible impact we can all make for children in need of treatment.”

These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
