TGA Names Two New Executives For its Fast Growing Youth Sports Franchise Company

August 01, 2012 // Franchising.com // EL SEGUNDO, CA – TGA Premier Golf and Tennis, one of the country’s leading youth sports franchise companies, has named two executives to corporate positions. The company is based in Los Angeles.

Nate Wright has been promoted to national program director and Patrick Yarrow will be the new director of business development. Both will help in the continued growth of TGA and bring extensive experience in working in youth sports.

"With our continued expansion across the country and the addition of TGA Premier Youth Tennis to our franchise offerings, it was important that we expanded the corporate office to maintain our aggressive growth rate and help franchisees be even more successful," explained Steve Tanner, chief operating officer for TGA.

"Nate has been part of our growth since the beginning and his knowledge and experience in developing TGA programs in our largest territory in the country, Los Angeles, made him the perfect candidate to oversee our national programs. Patrick’s experience in developing extensive youth programs, non-profit expertise, and partnerships through the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA made him a natural choice to help TGA expand and grow. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will continue to make TGA a leader in developing youth sports franchises and afterschool enrichment programs.”

Wright joined TGA in 2003 as a coach in the first after-school programs in Los Angeles. He continued to assist in the development of TGA through summer camps, clinics and tournaments from 2004 to 2008 before assuming the role of program director for the Los Angeles and West Valley territories.

As TGA's national program director, Wright will oversee product and curriculum development, instructor training certification and junior player development. He has a background in theater, sports and education. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in music.

Yarrow is joining TGA with over 15 years experience in the industry of youth enrichment and development. He started as a camp counselor and worked his way to an associate executive position with the YMCA. This gave him thorough experience in programming from conception to implementation, including management of successful programs and improving struggling ones. Most recently he worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs as their director of development, where he expanded revenue streams during his tenure.

Yarrow holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Southern California and has been working in the non-profit industry since 1996. Born and raised in California, he is currently living in Agoura Hills. He will oversee TGA’s Business Development Department, aiding franchises growth, expanding current partnerships and creating new ones with a variety of community organizations.
