Bottle & Bottega Named Best of Chicago

BYOB Art Party Studio Included in Arts & Entertainment Category

August 15, 2012 // Franchising.com // Chicago, IL - Bottle & Bottega has been selected for the 2012 Best of Chicago Awards in the arts & entertainment category by the Chicago Award Program committee. Bottle & Bottega offers BYOB (bring your own bottle) art classes and parties for birthdays, bridal and baby showers, bachelorette parties and team-building events in studios and offsite partner locations like restaurants, bars or wine shops, in private homes or corporate venues. Most classes are $40 and include all art supplies. Guests bring their own beverages and enjoy an instructor-led evening of art creation.

“It is an honor to be chosen for this list, and we are very happy about the recognition,” said Bottle & Bottega CEO Nancy Bigley. “We are continually focused on providing the best experience possible for our customers. To be among the best in Chicago is so exciting and we will continue to strive for excellence every day.”

Each year, the Chicago Award Program identifies companies they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and the community. These exceptional companies help make the Chicago area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 Chicago Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Chicago Award Program and data provided by third parties.
Only three years in business, Bottle & Bottega is taking off fast. The original B&B is located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood and a second company-owned location is set to open in the South Loop on August 1. Bottle & Bottega’s first Illinois franchised location opened in La Grange on June 11 this year by owners Paul and Meg LeFaivre. Chicagoland’s newest location is set to open in Evanston this month. Bottle & Bottega also has one franchised location in Denver, Colo. Franchises start out as mobile businesses, then open a studio location within six months of signing the franchise agreement.

As the only art party concept that focuses on multiple art forms and themed events as part of its regular business offerings, Bottle & Bottega “art parties” may focus on painting a canvas, creating a mosaic, wine glass painting, jewelry making or live models. Each studio has its own special classes, including themes such as “Monday with the Masters,” “Taco (or Tapas) & Art Tuesday,” “Couples and BFF Night,” and “Wine Down Wednesday.”
