Taft Attorney Monica Gearding Selected to Participate in WE Lead Program

August 22, 2012 - CINCINNATI, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Monica Gearding, a partner in Taft’s Cincinnati office has been selected to participate in the 2012-2013 Class of the WE Lead program. The WE Lead program is presented by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and is targeted to women on established career tracks who want to gain the skills necessary to advance to higher levels. The program is designed for accomplished managers, business owners and leaders and helps to refine leadership and communication skills for women advancing in both their professions and the community.

Monica Gearding is a partner in the Real Estate and Business & Finance Practice Groups of Taft. She received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Gearding focuses her practice on commercial and corporate law, with an emphasis on real estate matters, commercial lending and construction and development.

Gearding is a Board Member and CEO of Advanced Industrial Measurement Systems, Inc. (AIMS). She is also a member of Taft’s Professional Women’s Resource Group (PWRG), a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Cincinnati Management Committee, and is in her fourth term as a member of the Wilder, Kentucky City Council.
