Craters & Freighters Opens Veteran Owned Location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The new location will be open for business on September 1st and service the entire metro area.

Ms. Gibson states, “We were pleased to offer a discounted investment to David Mansmith, the owner of the Milwaukee location through the International Franchise Association’s Vet Fran Program. Mr. Mansmith served in two combat missions in Vietnam from 1969 and 1970 and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign War.

Mr. Mansmith discovered Craters & Freighters as a customer and was intrigued by the unique business model that lead him to purchase the Milwaukee territory. He adds, “I’ve been in the medical equipment sales for over thirty years and look forward to applying my experience in the medical industry to assist corporations in Milwaukee with their specialty logistics needs.” Mr. Mansmith spent the last seven years of his career as the sales manager for Zimmer Incorporated, the number one orthopedic company in the world. He has also owned five businesses in multiple states including Wisconsin, North Carolina and California.
