Meg Roberts Promoted to President of Molly Maid
Former VP of Marketing for Service Brands International to Begin New Leadership Position
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 12, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Molly Maid, the nation's leading home cleaning franchise, has appointed Meg Roberts to the role of President. Noted for her marketing acumen, Roberts was also chiefly considered for the spot due to her innate ability to develop and lead teams, communicate the residential maid service business opportunity to potential franchise candidates and generate business leads for franchise owners throughout the Molly Maid system.
Roberts joined Molly Maid as Director of Marketing in the summer of 2007 and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing overseeing both Molly Maid and Mr. Handyman in 2011. Among many, her achievements in that role include the introduction of several strategic partners to boost the brand's presence online, both nationally and locally, the reinvention and ongoing enhancements to the Molly Maid website, the creation of a mobile website to capture potential customers using smartphones, and embracing social media and public relations as vehicles to capture the interests of future customers and franchise owners. Roberts will replace former President Kristi Mailloux, who stepped down last month to pursue further opportunities.
"I am really honored to take over this role for Molly Maid and help guide the brand moving forward," said Roberts. "I wouldn't have made it this far in this organization without the wonderful team I've worked with for the past five years and the great support I've received from our parent company, Service Brands International."
Roberts, a lifelong Ann Arbor native, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1995 with a B.A. in Communication and completed her M.A. in Advertising Research from Michigan State University in 1998.
"Meg is the perfect example of a hardworking professional that brings the right attitude and focus to the job every day," said Craig Donaldson, CEO of Service Brands International. "Anytime you can hire from within it's a good indicator of a strong company culture, and Meg is the embodiment of that ideal."
