Metal Supermarkets Franchisee Sets New Sales Record

September 12, 2012 // Franchising.com // July was a record-breaking month for Metal Supermarkets, the world’s largest supplier of small quantity metals. The Burnaby, British Columbia franchise location broke the company’s all-time monthly sales record for a single location.

It is the second time this year that the Burnaby Metal Supermarkets location accomplished this; in March it also set a monthly sales record. On a year to date basis it is the highest-performing location in the system.

Tim Kemp, the Burnaby franchisee said “The Burnaby team worked very hard to achieve this sales record. Together with support from our Langley location, we provided great customer service earning repeat business to meet this sales level. Our entire team is very proud of this accomplishment.”

This achievement reflects the growth of the company overall. System-wide sales are up globally by 10 percent this year.
