Weichert, Realtors Donates $75,000 to American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research

September 14, 2012 // Franchising.com // Weichert, Realtors successfully raised $75,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society to fund breast cancer research during its 12th Annual Charity Golf Outing. Marking one of the most successful years in the history of the event, the sum brings the total that Weichert has raised for the American Cancer Society to almost $600,000 since the annual fundraiser began in 2000.

“The generosity of the individuals and businesses in the area that came out to support this worthy cause is overwhelming,” said Jacelyn Botti, head of residential sales for Weichert, Realtors. “I would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, including the many Weichert offices and affiliated companies, and the numerous private and corporate sponsors who gave so generously to support a cause that touches so many of our lives.”

Held annually at the picturesque Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J., this year more than 200 golfers participated in the event and made generous contributions toward the cause. Attendees also enjoyed a buffet luncheon, 18-hole tournament, 3 hour cocktail reception/buffet, prizes and awards.

Nearly 70 organizations supported the fundraiser through various forms of sponsorship. Top sponsors included Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and UNIRISC & Executive Movers Service.
