Firemans Contractors Franchise Prospects Extend To Louisiana - Positioning For Anticipated $30+/- Million Federal-Aid

Hurricane Isaac's Wrath Leaves Louisiana With Extensive Road And Infrastructure Damage - Creates Opportunity For Firemans' Franchise

DALLAS, Sept. 20, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Firemans Contractors, Inc. (OTCBB: FRCN) (OTCQB: FRCN), a commercial contractor offering business to business commercial franchises and services in the pavement maintenance and parking lot maintenance industry, announced today that the opportunity to expand the company's franchise into Louisiana has presented itself at an accelerated rate due to an estimated $30+ million dollars in potential aid required to repair damaged roads and other state infrastructure, in the wake of Hurricane Isaac.

"We are currently eligible to franchise in 37 states," stated Renee Gilmore, CEO of Firemans Contractors. "While it is our intention to systematically market our franchise in each eligible state, natural disasters do create opportunities that cause us to slightly augment our roll-out plan. Having the ability to capture some of the lucrative prospective business in Louisiana, or anywhere else in the country for that matter – where disaster has stuck – has been made more probable for Firemans due to our recently launched Franchise Model. Franchising is indeed one of the most advantageous expansion efforts Firemans has made to date."

The U.S. Department of Transportation on Wednesday, Sept. 5, announced $3.5 million in quick release emergency relief funds has been made available to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development to help repair roads and bridges damaged by Hurricane Isaac. U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said, "Travel has been disrupted, and these emergency relief funds will help the state with key repairs."

The relief funds, along with additional federal aid, will likely be used for major highway and bridge projects. Where Firemans' plans to seek the greatest opportunity is by way of the private sector who have also been grossly affected by Isaac. Renee Gilmore believes that while there may be opportunity for contactors like Firemans to more easily secure government contracts in these instances, the private sector is looking to repair their parking centers and private roads as well, stating, "Like most of our clients, these customers need a contractor who they can trust."

Mrs. Gilmore continued, "These customers need a contractor with a brand, who can get the job done and be sensitive to the economic challenges of rebuilding infrastructure during both a fiscal and natural disaster recovery.

Having recently launched its Franchise Development Program approximately 3 months ago, the company has seen good success so far. Lead by a successful team of experienced franchise development professionals facilitating well over 7,000 franchises sales, many people close to the company are rather amazed at the initial success of the first franchise. Firemans anticipates a second franchise to clear the horizon shortly and has been inundated by a number of additional prospects expressing interest in the Firemans' brand.

Gilmore concluded, "Absent those few 'must have' opportunities such as that presented by Hurricane Isaac, we will continue to intentionally limit the number of new franchises sold within our first year of franchising the brand. We also have every intention to continue pursuing our ability to make financing available to our new franchisees."
