Domino's To Raise Dough For Arvalee Special School

Fundraising Drive to Help Rebuild Local School Devastated by Fire

(PRWEB UK) 28 September 2012 - Domino’s Pizza, the pizza delivery expert in Omagh, is holding a ‘Pizza for £1’ fundraising drive next week to raise much needed dough for Arvalee Special School.

Between 11am and 4pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, Domino’s will be selling small pizzas for £1 from its store on Derry Road and donating all of the proceeds to Arvalee Special School. The school was recently devastated by fire, which destroyed 90% of the building. Funds are needed to try to help rebuild the school that specialises in working with three to nine year olds with moderate and severe learning difficulties.

Joggy Dhillon, franchisee of Domino’s Omagh, said: “We were saddened to hear of the fire at Arvalee Special School and, as a local business, we wanted to do our bit to help raise much needed funds. We’re pleased to be able to help out and while pizza lovers are tucking into their favourite pizza on Wednesday, they can also feel good about raising much needed funds for a very worthy cause.”

Karen Connolly, chairperson of Friends of Arvalee, the charity that supports the school, said: “Governors, staff, parents and the children who attend the school have all been greatly encouraged by the community support we have received in the aftermath of the fire which destroyed our school. We wish to thank management and staff of Domino's Omagh for their kind offer to hold a fundraising day for the school community. Everyone who works to raise funds and those who donate can be reassured that it will be used to enhance the education of the children of Arvalee.”

Grab a slice of the action and help raise funds for Arvalee Special School on Wednesday. Pick up your pizza for £1 at Unit 1 Retail Park, Derry Road, Omagh BT78 5DR.

Note:
Pizza for £1 offer is valid on one topping small pizzas for collection only between 11am – 4pm on October 3, 2012. Ask in-store for more details.
