Local Couple Takes On Wholesome Tummies Orlando

The continued growth of Wholesome Tummies inspired co-founders Debbie Blacher and Samantha Gotlib to award the franchise, enabling them to focus on corporate operations and strategic growth. Wholesome Tummies now has seven franchise locations nationwide and anticipates several new franchises to be added later this year.

Amber and Mark Taylor, who have three children, have a shared lifelong interest in nutrition and fitness and both are advocates for better nutrition in school lunches The couple says their combined experiences in retail sales, management and finance are a good fit for Wholesome Tummies.

"As parents we take very seriously the nutritional needs of our own kids," said Amber Taylor. "It's become even more important to us as they've gotten older and are in school. We fell in love with the Wholesome Tummies concept because we believe that every child deserves access to a health lunch at school, every day."

The Orlando, Fla.-based healthy school lunch company, founded by two mothers, uses only organic and all-natural ingredients to create kid-tested, nutritionist-approved menus. Wholesome Tummies chefs and expert food service professionals are available to manage complete school kitchen operations. In addition, Wholesome Tummies offers healthy lunches daily to schools that do not have kitchens. Parents simply order the meals online, and they are delivered directly to schools.
