St Petersburg, FL, October 11, 2012 - (PR.com) - Hold on to your sports bras – Zumba Fitness® Instructor Linda Beaulieu is hosting a Zumbathon® at the 66th Street Flea Market, corner of 66th Street North and 54th Avenue in St Petersburg at 2:00 pm to last until 3:30 pm on October 27th.
Suggested Donations of $5 will be 100% donated to The American Cancer Society.
If you have never tried Zumba, experience it for yourself to see how easy it is to get an incredible cardio workout while having fun exercising. You exercise to high energy music that just makes you want to move, while challenging your brain and body to move in new ways. Zumba’s exhilarating, simple moves have swept the nation and the world.
Zumba is definitely Not your Mother’s workout—But even your Mother can do it. All ages, fitness levels and dance abilities can participate in and benefit from this fun dance fitness program that has upbeat Latin and international inspired music.
Linda Beaulieu, a local Curves franchisee and a licensed Zumba instructor from the Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN) teaches simple, modified Zumba moves suitable even for beginners. “Last year I watched my Mom go through the ordeal of a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. The American Cancer Society was so supportive of my Mom and such a great resource,” said Linda, “that I felt compelled to give back. Because others have donated over the years to cancer research and cancer therapy, my Mom will celebrate another birthday next month!”
Although the event will be hosted by Linda Beaulieu as Instructor, Linda has invited several other Zumba licensed instructors to make the event even more fun. This Zumbathon is sponsored jointly by Curves Pinellas Park South, 5987 Park Boulevard, Pinellas Park, 33781 and 66th Street Flea Market, located on the corner of 66th Street North and 56th Avenue in St Petersburg. Carol Crawford, Owner of 66th Street Flea Market has generously donated the venue for this event.
Pre-registration would be nice but not necessary. If you would like to comment or register, go to www.lindabeaulieu.zumba.com to Linda’s Zumba website. Linda invites you to inquire also about regular Zumba classes, both Basic Zumba and Gold Zumba (for beginners and those over 50) held at Curves Pinellas Park South. Walk-ins will be welcome to join the party.
