October 11, 2012 // Franchising.com // VANCOUVER – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Flip Flop Shops has partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to help raise money for a future without breast cancer and encourage consumers to be proactive and get checked.
The campaign will run through October 2012, allowing consumers to receive a pair of pink SANÜK Ibiza flip flops for a minimum $5 donation. All proceeds will go directly to the foundation. Participating locations include: the Calgary and Edmonton shops in Alberta; the Coquitlam, Nanaimo, Kelowna, and Vancouver shops in British Columbia; and the Saskatoon shop in Saskatchewan.

The pink SANÜK Ibiza flip flops come with a card attached to make it easy to gift the flip flops to a friend or family member and encourage them to get checked.”
Breast cancer is a complex disease with no known single cause, and will affect one in nine Canadian women during their lifetime. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, it’s estimated that nearly 23,000 women and 200 men throughout Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012.
