Auntie Anne’s Invites Guests to Taste a Sample Each Saturday

Chances to Win Free Pretzels, Soft Drinks, and a Busch Gardens® Vacation

Lancaster, Pa. (October 12, 2012) – You’ve probably noticed an Auntie Anne’s® crewmember standing in front of your local store, offering samples of fresh, hot pretzels. Perhaps you’ve even stopped to sample the company’s Original Pretzel or another special flavor on display. Now, Auntie Anne’s is providing an additional incentive for guests to take a risk-free taste of specific pretzel products each Saturday starting Oct. 13 and concluding in stores on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Over the next five weeks, Auntie Anne’s stores nationwide will participate in Sampling Saturdays by providing bite-sized samples of the featured pretzel or sips of the featured lemonade flavor. In addition to receiving the sample, guests will be provided with scratch-off cards to try their luck at winning instant prizes, including free Signature Pretzels and free 21-ounce fountain drinks. Signature pretzels include Original, Cinnamon Sugar, Sweet Almond, Garlic, Sour Cream and Onion, Sesame, and Jalapeño.

In addition to receiving the instant win scratch-off cards, guests will be invited to enter a grand prize sweepstakes either by texting the unique weekly keyword, found on the scratch-off card or the sampler’s button, to 26739 or by visiting www.SamplingSaturdays.com and entering the keyword. Prizes include a family vacation to one of the Busch Gardens® theme parks in Tampa, Fla. or Williamsburg, Va., free Signature Pretzels for one year, or free 21-ounce fountain drinks for one year. Using the weekly keywords found in stores, guests can enter the sweepstakes once per week through Nov. 16. Winners of these top prizes will be notified at the conclusion of Sampling Saturdays, on or about Monday, Nov. 19.

Carl Hornberger, Auntie Anne’s Director of Menu Management said, “The more guests visit Auntie Anne’s during Sampling Saturdays, the more chances they have to win valuable prizes, and perhaps discover a new favorite pretzel or lemonade flavor.”
