First Annual Capital Area Wellness Recognition Rally Was Huge Success

Over 1,000 massage therapists, estheticians and guests attended the first annual Capital Area Wellness Recognition Rally sponsored by Massage Envy.

Washington D.C. (PRWEB) October 17, 2012 - The First Annual Capital Area Wellness Recognition Rally was recently held to honor massage therapists and estheticians throughout the Greater Washington D.C. and Baltimore area. This year’s gala theme, “A Better World….Through Your Hands,” was held at the Warner Theater and attracted over 1,000 participants.

“We had a wonderful turnout for our first Wellness Recognition Rally and had a great response from the health and wellness community,” says Regional Developer Ronn Wadsworth.”Massage Envy feels it is important to honor those in the wellness community and we are looking forward to making next year’s event even better.”

Seventeen awards were given out during the night to massage therapists, estheticians and sales associates who had consistently given outstanding service. The night was packed full of entertainment, with industry professionals, nationally recognized speakers, red carpet photos, cocktails and drawings.

Featured special guest speakers were Dr. Tiffany Field, P.H.D, from the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami Medical School, as well as CG Funk, LMT, VP of Industry Relations & Product Development at Massage Envy.

Massage Envy looks forward to sponsoring next year’s Capital Wellness Recognition Rally and making the event an even bigger success for estheticians and massage therapists in the Greater Washington D.C. and Baltimore area.
