COIT Cleaning and Restoration Company Acquires Minneapolis/St. Paul Franchise and Expands Local Services

The local business, which offers residential cleaning services, disaster restoration and commercial cleaning services, will see an expansion of its restoration services with the acquisition.

“The Wohl family has owned and operated the highly successful COIT-Minneapolis/St. Paul franchise since 1962,” Bob Kearn, President and CEO of COIT, said. “They grew their business into one of our top five franchises nationwide, and we look forward to expanding the business and services further to greater serve the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.”

Paul and Sarah Wohl first opened the Minneapolis/St. Paul COIT franchise in 1962. Ten years later their son, Dave Wohl, took over daily operations of the business. Under his direction and guidance the operation grew into a thriving residential cleaning business that provided carpet and upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and many more residential services.

Dave Wohl was also an active COIT participant by serving multiple times on the Franchise Advisory Council and attending numerous COIT Conventions.

A team of COIT-Corporate staff members is currently integrating the Minneapolis/St Paul location into its status as a new corporate division. As part of the integration, the corporate staff will be working to expand the location's restoration services including adding to the current water damage mitigation, mold remediation and fire damage mitigation capacity.
