Outdoor Living Brands Expands With Acquisition Of Wood Re New

Company Will Be Immediately Diversified And Rebranded As Renew Crew, Provides New Opportunities To Support Americans' Enjoyment Of The Great Outdoors

RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 24, 2012 // PRNewswire // - Consistent with its mission to enhance Americans' enjoyments of outdoor living spaces, Outdoor Living Brands has expanded its franchise opportunity portfolio with the acquisition of Wood Re New, a franchise currently focused on the environmentally friendly cleaning, staining and protecting of decks, fences and other exterior wood surfaces.

The addition of Wood Re New to the successful Outdoor Living Brands portfolio brings the number of business units in the company to four. It joins Archadeck Outdoor Living, Mosquito Squad, named to the Inc. Magazine list of top 5000 fastest growing private companies in both 2012 and 2011, and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. Founded in 1993, the Springfield, Mo., company began franchising in 2002 and currently has 24 franchise locations in twelve states. As part of the acquisition, Stan Krempges, founder and president, and the entire Wood Re New team will join Outdoor Living Brands and Stan will continue to lead this business unit going forward.

As part of the Outdoor Living Brands' growth strategy for the business, Wood Re New will be immediately rebranded and launched as Renew Crew, with a significantly broadened service offering. The expanded service offering includes the cleaning and protecting a wide variety of exterior and outdoor surface that require regular upkeep by homeowners and commercial property owners, including patios; walkways; vinyl, aluminum and stucco siding; brick; gutters; composite decking and driveways – in addition to the continuation of the company's previous service offerings for wood decks, fences and siding.
