360clean Ranks 10th Among Small Businesses in South Carolina
Fast Growing Charleston-based janitorial franchise recognized as the 10th Best Performing Small Business at The Roaring Twenties event, as determined by SC Biz News.
Charleston, South Carolina (PRWEB) October 30, 2012 - 360clean, the fast-growing specialized janitorial franchise, best known for its focus on hygienic cleaning, has earned the distinction as the 10th Best-Performing Small Business in South Carolina, which was announced at The Roaring Twenties event in Columbia, South Carolina on Thursday, October 25, 2012. This event, presented by SC Biz News, is held to showcase the 40 best-performing companies in the state—20 in the small business category ($10 million or less in annual revenue) and 20 in the large business category (over $10 million in annual revenue).
In order to be considered for this list, companies must be headquartered in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity. Additional criteria for the small business category required companies to have revenues of at least $500,000 in each of the past three years (2009, 2010, and 2011). A formula was used to award points based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue generated from South Carolina revenue from years 2010 – 2011, and then the companies were ranked according to those points.
360clean, the sole janitorial company considered among the top 20 small businesses, has only been in existence since 2005. Barry Bodiford, Founder and CEO of 360clean, then a successful pharmaceutical sales rep, decided to take his knowledge of the medical industry and apply it to his part-time, family-owned and operated cleaning business. In the past seven years, Bodiford has developed and perfected the proprietary 360clean JaniMed™ cleaning system, franchised the 360clean concept, accumulated a team of Area Developers to market the 360clean brand in eight states, and awarded over 40 360clean unit franchises, who ultimately deliver the JaniMed™ cleaning system to their commercial janitorial clients.
"It's an honor to be a part of this award, but our success is largely due to our franchise owners and Area Developers across the nation," said Bodiford.
Those in attendance to accept the award for 360clean were: Barry and Allison Bodiford, Co-Founders, CEO and President, respectively; Teri Bradshaw, Director of Operations; Mike Fiebig and Jane Porter, Area Developer for the South Carolina Coast and Midlands and his wife; Tom and Julie Morris, Area Developer for the Western Carolinas and his wife; and Thibaut and Jessica Boylston-Fagonde, Area Developer for Atlanta and his wife.
360clean is a rapidly growing franchised commercial cleaning service based in Charleston, S.C. Through its expanding network of independently owned cleaning businesses, 360clean is establishing itself as one of the nation’s most affordable business opportunities for eager entrepreneurs. Using a two-pronged approach to growth, including area development and single business franchises, 360clean is broadening its reach throughout the Southeast U.S. and beyond. 360clean was founded by Barry Bodiford, who is now its CEO.
