CHANHASSEN, MN - (Marketwire - Oct 30, 2012) - In honor of the upcoming Veterans Day national holiday, AmericInn hotels around the country are organizing special community events during the week of November 11, preparing gift packages of toys, games and family fun activities for delivery to military families in their local areas. The Veterans Day initiative, called "Celebrating Our Hometown Heroes," is part of an on-going national commitment by AmericInn to support members of the military and their families.

During the week of Veterans Day (November 11), managers and employees of AmericInn hotels will be organizing special events encompassing local businesses, civic organizations, veterans groups and citizen volunteers to create the gift packages. They will be distributed in cooperation with local military support organizations including the Blue Star Mothers, National Guard and VFW Posts.
