Free Strength, Speed and Agility Clinic at Great Park November 18

Free one-day clinic for high school age athletes offered through Velocity Sports Performance and i9 Sports

Registration required, deadline for registration is noon on Friday, November 16

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 7, 2012 // PRNewswire // - High school age athletes (14-to-18 years old) can test fitness levels, train for their sport of choice and improve all aspects of their athletic performance at the Strength, Speed and Agility Clinic presented in collaboration with Velocity Sports Performance Powered by Cutting Edge and i9 Sports at the Great Park North Lawn on Sunday, November 18. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 16 at noon. Participants can register through the Great Park's website.

This one-day clinic will teach young athletes ways to improve their physical fitness, train for their sport of choice and improve on all aspects of athletic performance. The first class begins at 11 a.m. and the clinic continues through 3 p.m. Registrants are encouraged to wear athletic clothing, including shorts with no pockets or belt loops, a T-shirt and athletic shoes or cleats.

The Great Park has partnered with i9 Sportsand Velocity Sports Performance Powered by Cutting Edge in Irvine to help youth improve their fitness and sports skills, learn positive values and fair play. i9 Sports offers the most popular team sports for children with a focus on fun, safety, and good sportsmanship.
