Co-Founders of Fitness Franchise Expand Business Portfolio to Include Hair Removal Market

The acquisition of Waxing the City represents an ongoing strategy for the co-founders of Anytime Fitness to expand into recession-resilient industries that make a difference in people’s lives.

Currently, WTC has four locations in the Denver area and one salon in Dallas, TX. “When we opened the first waxing-only salon in Denver nine years ago, we knew we were on to something very special,” said Robin Schoh, co-founder and CEO of Waxing the City. “Our clientele would travel great distances for our expertise and personal service. Now, with franchising on a national level, we can be the best – and most convenient – waxing experience.”
The first company-owned WTC salon will open in Woodbury, MN, in mid-December, 2012, with plans to begin rapid expansion into franchise sales by April 2013.
