Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que(R) Opens New Overland Park, Kansas Restaurant

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 12, 2012 // GLOBE NEWSWIRE // - Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAVE) announces the opening of the Company's newest restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas. The new restaurant, owned and operated by Midwest BBQ Ventures Overland Park, LLC is conveniently located at 11741 Metcalf Avenue – right next door to the Sprint World Headquarters Campus at 119th and Metcalf. The Grand Opening occurs today, November 12, and includes members of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce on-site to join in the ribbon cutting. A portion of the Grand Opening's proceeds will support the Make-A-Wish Foundation by sponsoring a local child's wish.

The new 9,000 square foot Famous Dave's location is the largest BBQ restaurant in the area. The restaurant includes a private dining room that seats 70 guests and includes a separate entrance, restrooms and a projection screen for use at private gathering and corporate meetings.

Open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner at the Overland Park Famous Dave's restaurant.
