Frozen Dessert Chain Launches Salted Caramel, Peppermint Bark
November 12, 2012 // Franchising.com // Franklin, Tenn. - Tasti D-Lite, the great-tasting, lower-calorie frozen dessert chain with a fanatical following among health-conscious consumers as well as celebrities, is introducing new holiday flavors this month. Salted caramel and peppermint bark will be available through the end of the year. Tasti D-Lite is also offering a peppermint fudge sundae.
“We all look forward to the holiday season, and these limited time flavors are the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit,” said Donna Smith, vice president of marketing. “Caramel and peppermint are classic winter flavors associated with the holidays so we think they’ll be a great addition to the flavor lineup for November and December.”
Salted caramel and peppermint bark have 70 and 80 calories, respectively, per 4 fl. oz. serving, making them a great alternative to typical ice cream offerings which contain an average of 253 calories and 16 grams of fat per similar serving size.
