Puget Sound CARSTAR Autobody Repair Shops Donate a Car to a Local Military Family

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) November 14, 2012 - This November the Puget Sound CARSTAR Business Group will honor America’s active duty and military veterans with CARSTAR’s Military Appreciation Month. During the month, all Puget Sound CARSTAR locations will be participating in a car giveaway, a $150 Anthony’s Home Port Restaurant gift card drawing, and a national partnership with iPods for Wounded Veterans.

Puget Sound CARSTAR Business Group will be donating a 2005 Saturn ION to a deserving veteran or military family after reviewing all submitted nominations. CARSTAR has refurbished the chosen vehicle, installing new tires and a new stereo system just to name just a few enhancements. CARSTAR will also perform all routine maintenance to the car for free during the first year of ownership. To enter the drawing for the $150 Anthony’s Home Port Restaurant Gift Card any military personal just needs to visit any Puget Sound CARSTAR location to enter the drawing. During this same visit, CARSTAR will perform a FREE Winter Ready car inspection which includes a vital fluids check, tire pressure and tread check, lights and signal check as well as a wind-shield wiper inspection. CARSTAR Military Appreciation Month is in a national partnership with iPods for Wounded Veterans. iPods for Wounded Veterans is a charity dedicated to helping wounded service men and women by providing electronics to help heal with the gift of music and entertainment. Each CARSTAR location will become a donation site for any gently used electronics as well as cash to support the cause. At the end of November CARSTAR will send all donations to Fisher House where they will then be distributed to wounded veterans across the nation.
