Fifteen Los Angeles Area Massage Envy Clinics Combine Efforts to Raise Hopes and Funds to Conquer Arthritis

LOS ANGELES -  November 16, 2012 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Helen McDonagh and Andrew Garsten, Los Angeles Regional Massage Envy franchise developers and Massage Envy Spa Glendale owners, have facilitated Massage Envy Los Angeles Region becoming a key sponsor of the first annual Jingle Bell Run.

The Jingle Bell Run is a holiday-themed 5K benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. This new Los Angeles event will take place on Brand Boulevard, Downtown Glendale, California December 9th, 2012 at 8am.

For the first time, 15 Los Angeles area Massage Envy clinic owners are working as a fundraising, 5K running team. Each clinic owner has made an equal cash contribution supporting the event, pledged to run themselves and is encouraging staff participation. These 15 clinics are giving half-hour gift cards to everyone who joins the newly formed, “Team Envy LA.”

To foster staff participation in the merry 5K, each participating clinic will open three hours later (11 am) on December 9th. Anyone with proof of Jingle Bell Run registration on the Massage Envy Los Angeles’ Team page on the Arthritis Foundation web site is eligible to receive a half-hour gift card.
