November 21, 2012 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – A recent survey 1 by IHG’s upscale boutique hotel brand Hotel Indigo® found that nearly half of business travelers (48%) like spending time outside of their hotel room exploring the neighborhood, but nearly half of these same travelers (47%) wish they had more free time to do so. For those guests who don’t have the time or opportunity to explore, the Hotel Indigo brand created the “It’s Not All Business” package to offer business travelers a refreshingly local taste when they stay at a participating hotel.

The survey found that nearly a quarter (21%) would give up their business stipend to have extra time to explore the local neighborhood while almost a third (29%) would give up sleep.
