Rodizio Grill Gears Up to Open First Restaurant in New Jersey

VOORHEES, NJ - (Marketwire - Nov 27, 2012) - Rodizio Grill, America's First Brazilian Steakhouse, is coming to New Jersey December 4, 2012. This popular Brazilian destination promises guests authentic Brazilian cuisine along with endless perfectly seasoned grilled meats carved tableside by Brazilian Gauchos.

Rodizio Grill Voorhees will be locally owned and operated by Charlie Haney, Michael Astuto, and Curt Wunder. All three owners are seasoned restaurant operators, and have chosen Rodizio Grill as their new business venture.

"We are very excited to embark in this new project," stated Haney. "Rodizio Grill has seen great success in every market it has entered, and we are ready to bring this fun, festive concept to the Voorhees community."

Rodizio Grill is America's First Brazilian Steakhouse, originating in Colorado in 1995. Founder Ivan Utrera brought this popular Brazilian concept, along with cherished family recipes, from his hometown of São Paulo, Brazil. Today, Rodizio Grill is a beloved and bustling restaurant that has won many prestigious Best of State awards in the Mountain West where it has prominently operated for the past 17 years.

Rodizio Grill's menu features three-foot meat skewers, perfectly seasoned and carved tableside by Brazilian Gauchos. Unlimited appetizers, over 30 gourmet salads and a wide variety of homemade desserts make for an unforgettable dining experience. Guests can indulge in Brazilian favorites like Pao de Queijo (Cheese Bread), Couve (Sautéed Collard Greens and Bacon), Picanha (Top Sirloin) and Pudim de Leite, a delicious creamy Brazilian Caramel Flan, just to name a few. Everything at Rodizio Grill is made fresh every day, adding to the authenticity of the establishment.

"New Jersey is a market we are very excited to enter," stated David Knighton, Rodizio Grill's Director of Development. "The success Rodizio Grill has seen, and the interest it has generated is something that attests to the popularity of this concept. We are confident New Jerseyans will fall in love with the flavors of Brazil."

Rodizio Grill will be located inside the popular Voorhees Town Center located at 13109 Town Center Boulevard. For more information, guests can visit RodizioGrill.com.

The local owners also plan to open a franchised location of fast casual "beyond the better burger" concept Burger 21 in the Voorhees Town Center in spring 2013. Burger 21 is a chef-inspired brand founded by the owners of The Melting Pot fondue restaurant franchise with offerings including 21 unique burger and slider creations ranging from hand-crafted, freshly ground beef to chicken, turkey, shrimp and tuna burgers, made-to-order salads, Hebrew National all-beef hot dogs, hand-breaded chicken tenders and an extensive shake bar including hand-dipped shakes, floats and sundaes.
