STEARCLEAR Designated Drivers Service Comes to Hunterdon and Somerset Counties in New Jersey

A designated driver is only a few taps away on the StearClear smart phone app.

Flemington, NJ (PRWEB) December 06, 2012 - Local entrepreneurs Susan Parry and Patrick Mehrtens have signed a franchise deal with STEARCLEAR to bring its smartphone operated designated driver service to Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. The service, which is now available, covers Bridgewater, Somerville, Flemington and Clinton as well as the surrounding towns and the New Hope, Pennsylvania area. The goal of the StearClear franchise is to help reduce the number of drunk drivers on the road, while adding new jobs to the area. Customers can also book the service to get them and their car home from the hospital following medical procedures.

Professional drivers for the Hunterdon/Somerset County StearClear franchise will be hired locally and work in teams of two to provide customers with a safe ride home for both them and their vehicle. Customers are able to download the app on their iPhone or Android and enable the service using their phone’s GPS. Drive teams are connected to the customers in real time and deployed to the location of the customer and their vehicle. The customer is then driven home in their vehicle, and payment is secured through the application.

“We are eager to kickoff StearClear’s service in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, especially during the holiday season,” said franchisee Susan Parry. “Residents of these areas can now relax and enjoy their holiday parties without having to worry about driving home. All they have to do is order StearClear at the end of the night or pre-book the service in advance over the phone or through the smartphone application.”

The franchise is looking for experienced drivers within Hunterdon and Somerset counties who are looking to generate part-time income while offering a vital service that will protect and serve their local community. All driver and chaser candidates will be put through a stringent training process as well as state and national background checks. Drivers need to provide a copy of a valid driver’s license, car insurance certificate and photos along with the submission of an online application.

The franchisees will have everything they need to run their franchise at their fingertips using STEARCLEAR’s franchisee iPad application. The application manages employees, payroll, customers, pickups, drop-offs, fares, drive team locations, financial transactions and payments. Critical information about pickups in progress and locations of drivers and drive teams are shown in real-time. The application will also allow the franchise to communicate with its drive teams through its interface and respond to urgent requests or emergency situations.
