Athletic Republic Expands in Wisconsin
December 10, 2012 // Franchising.com // Athletic Republic, the industry leader in evidence-based performance sports training, has opened a new center in Kenosha, just inside the Kenosha Athletic Centre at 4211 Greenbay Road.
Athletic Republic Kenosha is the second training center owned and operated by Kenosha resident Jon Palmen. Athletic Republic Libertyville (IL) opened in 2008. Like the other 150 training centers in the Athletic Republic network, the center’s proprietary equipment and training protocols offer athletes an individualized approach to increasing speed, building power and improving agility.
As a former athlete himself, Palmen has been passionate about performance sports training and conditioning since his football and basketball days in high school. "Our mission is to help Kenosha athletes achieve their full potential and their athletic goals." said Palmen. "We want to help athletes develop a competitive advantage and improve their game-day performance."
Athletic Republic Kenosha offers individualized training programs that are based on regular assessments, the athlete's opportunities for improvement, and their practice and competition schedules. The Kenosha training center features Athletic Republic's patented equipment and age-appropriate protocols for improving athlete's competitive skills, including the high-speed Super Treadmill. Research shows that incline treadmill sprinting recruits key muscles at a level two to three times higher than running on a flat ground at the same stride frequency.
