Entrepreneur Magazine Names Fresh Coat Painters to Its Elite 2013 Franchise 500® List

This is the 34th year for the list. According to Entrepreneur magazine, to be eligible for the Franchise 500® ranking, a franchisor must have a minimum of 10 units, with at least one in the United States. Entrepreneur ranks companies based on a number of criteria, including financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. The magazine also considers the number of years a company has been in business and the length of time it has been franchising, among other considerations. Financial data is analyzed by an independent CPA. The company must be seeking new franchisees in the United States.

In 2012, Fresh Coat Painters opened 46 new franchises. The company currently operates 89 franchises in 27 states with plans to reach more than 100 franchise locations by the end of the year.
