First Upscale Wyndham Hotel Opens in Turkey

ISTANBUL, TURKEY - (Marketwire - Dec 20, 2012) - Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with nearly 7,260 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE: WYN), today announced the introduction of its upscale Wyndham® Hotels and Resorts brand to Turkey with the opening of the newly constructed, 210-room Wyndham Istanbul Kalamis Marina, located on the Asian coast of Istanbul.

The opening of the franchised hotel, owned by Reisler Deri Sanayi Ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi, adds to Wyndham Hotel Group's presence in Turkey, joining 12 hotels currently open and operating under the globally renowned Ramada® brand. The company plans to welcome its second Wyndham® hotel in the country, the 306-room Wyndham Istanbul Petek, in summer 2013.

The five-star hotel features 210 rooms over five floors, including specially designed family suites, as well as fourteen multi-functional meeting rooms, including a ballroom which can accommodate up to 750 guests. The Blue Harmony® Spa offers a host of therapeutic treatments as well as a sauna, hammam and traditional Turkish baths. The fitness center boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a separate gym and play area designed especially for children.
