Home Care Assistance’s 12 Days of Caring Program a Success

Home Care Assistance of Greater Chicago gives back during the holiday season with a campaign focused on community education, appreciation and volunteerism.

Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) December 27, 2012 - Home Care Assistance, North America’s premier provider of in-home care for seniors, is proud to announce that the company’s Illinois locations participated in its annual 12 Days of Caring campaign, inspired by the warmth and spirit of the company’s caregivers and clients. The campaign is structured around showing appreciation for clients, caregivers and the community at large.

“We are excited to celebrate the holiday season with our 12 Days of Caring program for the second year in a row,” said Margalit Tocher, President of Home Care Assistance of Greater Chicago. “The campaign allows us to demonstrate our gratitude for our dedicated caregivers, our clients who entrust us to provide them with the best care possible and the Greater Chicago area at large.”

Home Care Assistance, with offices in Kenilworth and a newly opened Hinsdale location, celebrated the holidays with activities devoted to clients, caregivers and the community. In the spirit of giving, holiday cards and gifts were delivered to clients and caregivers. An open house held on Friday, December 21st, brought caregivers, clients and staff members together to celebrate the holiday season with refreshments and door prizes.

Efforts to give back to the community included donations to North Shore Senior Center’s Giving Tree program, which provides seniors in need with presents during the holiday season and dessert treats for the holiday concert attendees at Wilmette’s Mallinckrodt Center for older adults. Home Care Assistance will continue to collect items through January for the New Trier Township Food Pantry, so feel free to stop by and drop off canned goods and other items.
