Houston’s #2 Latino Real Estate Agent Monica Vaca Announces Grand Opening of New Memorial Drive Headquarters

Smarter. Bolder. Faster. While most are winding down 2012, Monica Vaca is placing the finishing touches on her state-of-the-art Century 21 The Real Estate Group office.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) December 31, 2012 - Monica Vaca, Broker/Owner of CENTURY 21 The Real Estate Group and one of Houston’s most admired entrepreneurs and Hispanic leaders, has opened her new Houston office at 13130 Memorial Drive. In October 2012 Vaca was honored by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals as the #2 Latino Real Estate Agent in Houston and #34 in the entire country (based on closed unit volume). When asked if this was a dream realized, Vaca replied immediately, “Absolutely! I have visualized this office for 5 years. Back in 2007, during the banking crisis, I stuck with my strategic plan, which included more agents, more transactions, and growth in all areas. In fact, during the economic downturn, my business doubled. It was at this precise moment that I planted the seeds for our office expansion in an ideal area. I was resolute on making this happen, and now here we are five years later.” The new CENTURY 21 The Real Estate Group offices now occupy 5,081 square feet, a notable upgrade from Vaca’s first offices totaling 800 square feet.

Vaca sipped her cappuccino custom-brewed in her upscale coffee bar and stepped into her new training room, where her staff and agents will have access to cutting-edge technology and industry resources. Vaca has also stocked her supply room with every gadget imaginable, so that her team of agents can focus on their bottom lines. “I have been in this business for more than 25 years. I’ve seen it all. I have been in the agent’s shoes and I have numerous battle scars. I want these agents to feel at home and feel valued.” Vaca is fiercely loyal to her employees, as well. She has ensured that they have robust technology, ergonomic work spaces, and new furniture. Vaca exclaimed, “Without my superb team, we wouldn’t be standing here!” Vaca froze, as if soaking it all in, then continued, “I can’t tell you how breathtaking it is when our satisfied customers have signed their addendums at our new Internet café; we have transformed a potentially stressful situation into a comfortable and favorable moment. A real estate transaction is very personal and one of the largest transactions in our customers’ lifetimes,” Vaca said. “We have created an environment that merges the traditional with the contemporary and places our customers at ease. We have a solid reputation in Houston, this state, and this country. Our team has working exceedingly hard for this. Our customers actually connect with a live person, instead of ‘press 1 for this department or press 2 for another department, or press 3,4, 5, 6’…this is making me frustrated just thinking about what customers outside of our own go through! Our customers feel at home, and our remarkable new home is now ready to welcome them all!”

Smarter. Bolder. Faster. This is the current marketing campaign of the CENTURY 21® System. Monica Vaca, a powerhouse in real estate, lives, breathes, and epitomizes these ideals. Accordingly, Vaca’s mantra is “Tell us what you need and consider it done!” Vaca, a champion of the Houston community, served as the 2012 President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Houston Chapter. This month she delivered her farewell remarks at the NAHREP Houston 4th Annual Awards Ceremony, which featured the Top 10 Latino Real Estate Agents in Houston. Nationwide, NAHREP is the largest trade group for Hispanics in the real estate and housing industry. The association represents 20,000 members who, in turn, serve millions of Hispanic homebuyers, the primary consumer segment expected to drive first-time homebuyer purchases in the coming decade.

Among her many honors, Vaca was has been recognized as “Top Producer” by The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR). In 2007 she was named one of the 10 Trailblazing Latinas in the United States by Latina Style Magazine. In 2011 Vaca earned her prestigious designation as a Goldman Sachs Scholar. On January 15, 2012, she completed the Houston Aramco Half Marathon and dedicated her fundraising to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Vaca’s body of work continues to be featured in the media, such as the Houston Business Journal and other business and trade journals.

With another dream realized, what is on the horizon? As if anticipating the question, Vaca asserted, “We want 150 agents!” Based on Vaca’s track record of achievement and results, the Houston business community will be watching.
