Eye Level Ranked on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List for Fifth Straight Year

Global Education Provider Recognized As One of the Fastest-Growing and Low-Cost Franchises

January 03, 2013 // Franchising.com // RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. – For the fifth consecutive year, Eye Level (www.myeyelevel.com), a subsidiary of Daekyo America, was ranked in the annual Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500® (http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchise500/index.html#), the world’s most comprehensive franchise ranking. Up 14 spots from 2012, the New Jersey-based company ranked at No. 70, continuing a positive ascent.

“Being ranked in the 2013 Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500® is an incredible honor for the company, and to be placed in the same category as some of the top franchises is very special,” said Daekyo America CEO, Ho Jun Kang. “Such a high ranking represents every employee's time, honest efforts, passion, ideas, and zeal, as well as our company's mission to bring quality education programs to the U.S.”

Along with being ranked in the Franchise 500, Eye Level ranked at No. 87 within the category of ‘Fastest-Growing,’ rising ten spots from last year. In addition the company hit No. 71 on the ‘America’s Top Global’ list and No. 15 in the ‘Low-Cost’ rankings.

Entrepreneur Magazine judges all franchisees, regardless of size, by the same criteria: objective, quantifiable measures of the franchise operation. The most important factors include financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. The magazine also considers the number of years a company has been in business and the length of time it has been franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations, and whether the company provides financing.

The objective factors are plugged into their exclusive Franchise 500® formula, with each eligible company receiving a cumulative score. The 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500®.

Closing out 2012, Eye Level currently has more than 180 centers open with enrolled students across the U.S. For more information about Eye Level, or to inquire about franchising opportunities, please visit www.myeyelevel.com or call (201) 498-1212.
