Five Star Painting's Newest Location Opening in Washington, D.C.

Young entrepreneur sets sights on providing quality, affordable home improvement with new franchise.

Washington, D.C. - January 09, 2013 - ( - After a successful professional career in the corporate world, most notably with multinational telecommunications company NII Holdings, a Fortune 500 company, Ryan Nokes has decided to feed his deep-rooted passion for entrepreneurship and operate his own business by choosing a Five Star Painting franchise.

Nokes’ business savvy was recognized in national entrepreneur competitions while he was earning his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. Since then, his fondness for entrepreneurship has grown and enhanced, to the point where he has decided to operate his own service franchise business.

“I have long loved entrepreneurship,” Nokes said. “I ultimately decided that a franchise would provide me with the systems and support that I needed. Buying into a franchise is statistically more secure than opening a business on your own. Five Star Painting is big in the business; they know what works and what doesn’t.”

After exploring several options in franchising, Nokes decided to join the internationally acclaimed Five Star Painting franchise system. Upon researching the company, he found Five Star’s executives to not only be exceptionally professional but also extremely knowledgeable in their industry.

“I can and want to run a business, and that’s where Five Star excels,” Nokes said. “Of everything I’ve looked into, they are by far the most solid choice. They are very clear about hiring strong business professionals and providing their franchisees with the systems, technology and support they need to hit home runs.”

Nokes’ business will be the first Five Star Painting franchise in the D.C. area. He looks forward to serving his own community by not only providing residents with a quality painting business, but by also providing them with a source of employment.

“I look forward to providing jobs and employment for people here in my community,” Nokes said. “I believe in that. I believe cities and communities are where jobs are created, and that small businesses by and large power our nation. I want to do my part to contribute to that.”

Five Star Painting specializes in interior/exterior painting, deck and fence refinishing, staining and wallpaper.
