The Joint …the chiropractic place Opens 6th Location

Fast- growing concept plans to open up 30 clinics in Atlanta and surrounding cities.

[startScottsdale, Ariz. - The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics announced the opening of its sixth clinic in Pooler. This fast growing concept is slated to have an additional openings in Brookhaven, Kennesaw, Johns Creek, East Cobb and Midtown in 2013.

The Joint is led by John Leonesio, Founder and former CEO of Massage Envy. Mr. Leonesio is revolutionizing the chiropractic care industry just as he did the massage therapy industry a decade ago. "Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care both extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can't happen fast enough," Leonesio said. "All our efforts will therefore be focused on growing The Joint into a national franchise operation, staffing each clinic with leading chiropractors and delivering a superior chiropractic care experience to all our members." Mr. Leonesio's plan is simple: apply the same core strategies that made Massage Envy immensely successful directly to The Joint and he is finding fast support from Massage Envy Franchisees.

All the new clinics that have opened are owned and operated by Massage Envy franchisees. “We knew the magic that John had worked with Massage Envy and the membership model, "states Mr. Don McMahon, franchisee of the Dacula clinic. “John is the master at simplifying the service delivery process and creating value for the consumer.”

And it is working. The Joint currently has 340 clinics open or in development in 25 states.

The Regional Developer for the Atlanta area is Dr. Patrick Greco. Atlanta and its surrounding counties are slated for the development of 30 clinics.

Dr. Greco is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education; Dr. Greco earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. The owner of two Massage Envy clinics in the Atlanta area, Dr. Greco has always had a profound interest in the health and wellness industries. “The basis of chiropractic care is assisting the body as it naturally strives towards optimum health. This is an area of preventative health care that I not only find fulfilling, but also intriguing,” said Dr. Greco.

Already familiar with the tremendous success of John Leonesio, Dr. Greco immediately became immersed with the business model of The Joint and knew he had found his next business venture. “With the continuous changes in the health care industry of steadily increasing deductibles and patient co-pays, decreased reimbursement to doctors and denial of coverage through third party administrators, it is making regular chiropractic care unattainable but The Joint changes all that.” said Dr. Greco.

Jeff McGinty, franchisee of the Buckhead clinic. “Under the direction of John Leonesio a brand is being built within the chiropractic community that will enable everyone to benefit from affordable and convenient chiropractic care.”
