Company Keeps Eye on U.S. Expansion in 2013

In 2012, Expedia CruiseShipCenters added 21 new franchise locations, bringing their total to 166 Expedia franchise locations throughout North America. The company also added more than 1,100 Vacation Consultants to their team, taking the total to nearly 4,000 agents. As part of their development plan to expand their presence throughout the United States, the company expanded into new territories, including Dallas, TX, Aventura, FL., and Van Nuys, CA.

A highlight of the year was Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ annual National Conference, which welcomed over 600 attendees and included a series of presentations, roundtable discussions and various networking opportunities to prepare Franchise Partners and Vacation Consultants with new tools and skills to create an even more successful 2013.

Another 2012 milestone was the launch of the company’s newly redesigned website at www.cruiseshipcenters.com featuring a host of enhancements around design and functionality to create the best travel shopping experience for their customers.

The entire Expedia CruiseShipCenters team also worked hard all year to raise money for breast cancer awareness through various annual national and local initiatives, ending the year with more than $45,000 raised for the cause.
