Eco-Friendly Auto Maintenance Chain Expands Corporate Team with Two New Hires

January 11, 2013 // Franchising.com // SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Honest-1 Auto Care, the only national full-service auto repair and maintenance franchise that is 100 percent ESA® Certified Eco-Friendly, announces strategic expansion plans for 2013, including franchise development nationwide and addition of two seasoned franchise professionals at the corporate office.

To streamline procedures in preparation for vast growth, Honest-1 hired Rick Sage as the Director of Marketing and Tod Swett as Director of Development.

No stranger to the franchise industry, Sage has held the position of account manager for United Marketing Solutions franchise, where he was responsible for improving market exposure and customer retention, and later held the position of marketing consultant for Minuteman Press, a full service copy, print and design franchise company. Sage most recently served as marketing director for Russell Enterprises, one of the nation’s largest hockey programs, with the responsibility of improving market exposure and brand recognition. In his role with Honest-1, Sage will help develop and implement processes necessary to sustain healthy franchise growth.

Swett’s vast experience in franchise development includes a recent tenure with United Franchise Group where he held his most recent title of marketing advisor. Swett has held a handful of other positions with franchised organization, including a managerial position with FASTSIGNS, a visual communications, signage and graphics franchise system, and various operational positions with United Franchise. In his new role, Swett will provide support for new Honest-1 franchisees, working closely with them from the time they sign their franchise agreement to get their location operating as quickly as possible.

In 2013, Honest-1 Auto Care projects to open 15 locations and sign 18 single-unit franchise agreements and 7 region developer agreements, each with the potential to open up to 20 locations in their respective territories. Honest-1 opened nine stores in 2012 and singed 11 single-unit franchise agreements and five region developer agreements.
