(Aliso Viejo, Calif.) Jan. 14, 2013 – Johnny Rockets introduced its newest Southern California location last Friday at trendy Santa Monica Place. The 931-square-foot food court location is a mere third of a mile away from the all-American brand’s most successful company-owned restaurant at 1322 Third Street.
“Ever since our Third Street Promenade restaurant opened in October 1995, it’s been extremely popular – and with the tremendous influx of visitors and residents to this thriving seaside community, demand has only continued to grow,” explained John Fuller, CEO of Johnny Rockets. “By having two Johnny Rockets in the area, we’re able to make our all-American brand accessible and convenient for anyone looking for a delicious meal, timeless ambiance and engaging dining experience.”
The new location is owned by long-time Johnny Rockets franchise partner Mary Khaleghian, who now manages seven restaurants in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Huntington Beach, Anaheim and Los Angeles. “Having operated Johnny Rockets restaurants in Southern California beach communities since 1992, we know what area residents and tourists are looking for in a fun, flavorful and friendly dining experience,” said Khaleghian. “For couples, we’re the perfect date night. For families, we’re the ideal stop after a day of shopping, sightseeing, surfing or sandcastle building. We’ve really got something for everyone.”
Santa Monica was recognized as one of the top ten beach cities in the world by National Geographic in 2010, and as one of America’s best downtowns by Forbes a year later. Santa Monica Place reopened in 2010 after a two-year, $265 million renovation and boasts more than 80 restaurants, stores and services – including the third level indoor/outdoor food court where Johnny Rockets is located.
Johnny Rockets’ new restaurant at 395 Santa Monica Place #386 is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
