Greenz in Uptown Acquires a New Owner and a Fresh New Look

January 22, 2013 // Franchising.com // Greenz Franchise Systems has signed on Joel Stabile to take over franchise ownership of Greenz Salads’ Uptown franchise eatery. Stabile joined the Greenz team 5 months ago, working as a Shift Manager at the Equinox location. After a few months, he moved over to manage the Uptown location and when the store came up for purchase, he jumped at the chance to take ownership in a product he believed so much in.

“I feel like this opportunity was a perfect storm: a great location, a superior product and a fantastic support system under Greenz CEO and Founder, Casie Caldwell,” said Stabile. “I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Everything I need to be a success is right in front of me and all I have to do is work hard to keep up the standards that are already in place.”

Under the directive of Dallas designer, Dana Foley Design, renovations to the Uptown location have just been completed, which include:

• New millwork
• New artwork package featuring all new art designs and including the centerpiece “sprout’, designed by a local metal shop designer
• Tabletops
• Fresh, modern, yet organic, earthy and warm textured look

With more than 16 years of experience as a marketer and entrepreneur, Caldwell has developed a unique fast-casual concept featuring a variety of chef-inspired, mouth-watering salad creations typically found in fine-dining restaurants. The menu also includes the freshest salad ingredients available, along with wraps, sandwiches, and soups.
