Liquid Nutrition Adds Veteran Retail Executives to Its Team

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - Feb. 5, 2013) - Liquid Nutrition Group Inc. ("Liquid Nutrition" or "Company") (TSX VENTURE:LQD)(TSX VENTURE:LQD.WT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Spokes to the role of Vice-President Operations and Nelson Cabral to the position of Vice-President Merchandise.

Dean Spokes is a successful operations leader with extensive experience, most recently serving as the Director of Operations for COBS Bread (B.D. Canada Ltd.) from 2005 to 2013. At COBS, Mr. Spokes was successful in launching the COBS Bread brand in Ontario with 16 locations and annual sales of $14 Million.

Prior to joining COBS in 2005, Mr. Spokes served as the Director of Operations, Ontario and Western Canada for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & Coffee (KremeKo Inc) from 2001 to 2005 where he was a Senior Leader of the Operations Team that launched Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Canada, achieving system wide sales of $42 Million from 13 locations in Ontario and Alberta.

Nelson Cabral brings more than twenty years of progressive leadership experience in merchandising, planning, supply chain management and technology to the Liquid Nutrition team.

Mr. Nelson played a key role in the growth of Teaopia Ltd., a premium loose leaf tea retailer, helping grow the company to 46 locations and implemented ERP systems for both Teaopia and Keyman Engraveables where he held various management positions from 1999 to 2012.
