The CPPW Program in Pinellas Park has guidelines for beverages and snack in local schools. With over 63 percent of adults in Pinellas overweight, these vending machines come at the right time. Over 29.5 percent of children 2-4 years in Pinellas were found overweight. The vending machines are free to the schools and nonprofits and Fresh Healthy Vending also offers upfront financial grants as well as monthly sales commission to select locations.
